VOX Kicks off October Volunteer Month

Oct 24, 2018 | Community

VOX is a modern technology company that truly wants to make a difference in the world. Yet, it is our approach to creating this change that sets us apart. By infusing a deep-seeded belief in creating committed partnerships, engaging in our communities and empowering individuals to have a stake in the process, we create a collaborative prosperity that positively affects people, businesses and the world. As part of the VOX ‘Prosperity for All’ mantra, we believe that by engaging in our community and investing our time and resources, we can make a meaningful difference. The following is one such example of how we seek to achieve this difference.

This October is our 1st Official Dedicated Volunteer Month in support of our VOX Community Engagement Program. As we turned our focus on giving back to the programs and communities that have helped us get this far, we also wanted to empower our employees to make a difference in the causes that they feel most passionate about. The results have been wonderful. Below are some of the efforts VOX team members have contributed towards:

  • Kids Against Hunger Bay Area: Shipping highly nutritious, life-saving meals to starving and malnourished children – Scott Landis, John Cubiburu, Bob Clark, and Todd Peiffer
  • Stacy Feltman Breast Cancer Angels FUNdraiser: Raising awareness & money to support local women in need of financial assistance after diagnosis – Jeff Burke
  • Friends of St. Francis: Raising money to help provide hunger relief and comprehensive services for our homeless and extremely low-income. – Nicole Lau
  • Ogden Lighthouse in Ogden, Utah: Gathering clothing donations and distributed to Homeless shelters and helped feed dinner to the homeless – Bruce Reusser
